A Friend’s Growth, A Brother’s Inspiration

In 2023, Vincent chatted me that he was in Tiendesitas. I asked him why, and he told me that he had attended the CCF service there. That simple moment became the start of something beautiful. Today, it is even Vincent who asks me if I attended or will attend the CCF service. His faith has grown so much that he now encourages me, just as I once encouraged him.

I can’t recall the exact date when I first invited Vincent to CCF, but I know it has been around three years. At that time, I did not know how much his life would change. Now, I can see clearly that Vincent is growing beautifully in his faith. He is not only attending church, but he is also joining ministries, serving, and inspiring others with his example. He consistently joins his D-Group, showing that he values fellowship, accountability, and growing together with other believers. He even invited his parents and siblings to join CCF, and I know that he really prayed for it. His life is a testimony of how God works in the heart of someone who is willing to follow Him.

Vincent lives a good and disciplined life. He avoids vices like drinking liquor, and instead he chooses to focus on his health. He spends his time biking, climbing mountains, and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. These activities show how he values his body and his well-being. He surrounds himself with good friends who share the same faith, and together they encourage one another to walk closer with God.

He also did not forget to give me a gift during Christmas. Those gifts were devotional books, a planner, and a “Love Notes from God.” These were not just simple presents, but reminders of faith, discipline, and encouragement. They showed how thoughtful Vincent is, and how much he wants others to grow closer to God too.

Unlike me, I am still living with many sins that I cannot even mention. I am still an attendee of CCF Pasig, but sometimes I am too lazy to go to church, and I just watch online. Seeing Vincent’s growth makes me reflect on my own journey. His life reminds me that it is possible to live with joy, discipline, and faith, if only we choose to surrender fully to God.

I am truly proud of Vincent. His life is happy and contented, not because of material things, but because he has chosen the right path. He is proof that when you walk with God, you find peace, strength, and purpose.

Today, as Vincent celebrates his birthday, I want to honor him with my words. I wish him more years of health, strength, and faith. May he continue to climb mountains, not only in the physical sense, but also in the spiritual journey of life. May he inspire more people to choose the right friends, the right habits, and the right faith. And may God bless him with joy that never fades, and courage that never fails.

Happy birthday, Vincent. Your life is a gift, and I am grateful to witness how you are living it so beautifully.
