Faith, Family, and Community: The Multifaceted Leadership of Engr. Benson Conde

As someone who has had the privilege of witnessing the dedication and hard work of Engr. Benson Conde firsthand as the Barangay Captain of San Andres, Cainta, I am continually inspired by his unwavering commitment to excellence. His work is not just about achieving technical success but also about making a meaningful impact on the community.

What stands out the most about Engr. Conde is his genuine passion for helping others. Whether it’s through his projects or his community service initiatives, he consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that his efforts bring positive change. His ability to blend technical expertise with a deep sense of social responsibility is truly remarkable.

One of the best things about Engr. Conde is his approachability and willingness to share his knowledge. He is always ready to lend a helping hand, offer guidance, and support those around him. This generosity of spirit not only fosters a collaborative environment but also inspires others to strive for their best. He even provides his personal number so everyone in need can reach him right away.

A particularly impactful initiative led by Engr. Conde is his scholarship program for college students. This program provides financial support to deserving students, enabling them to pursue higher education and achieve their dreams. By investing in the education of young minds, Engr. Conde is not only helping individuals but also contributing to the future growth and development of the community. He even adjusts his own time to meet with and support the scholarship recipients, demonstrating his deep commitment to their success.

Moreover, his transparency in government is commendable. Engr. Conde ensures that his actions and decisions are open and clear to the public, fostering trust and accountability. He regularly posts his achievements on social media and conducts Facebook Live sessions to keep the community informed and engaged. This level of transparency is crucial in building a strong and trustworthy relationship with the community.

Additionally, I deeply admire his commitment to his faith. Engr. Conde’s dedication to spending time at church every Sunday with his family reflects his values and the importance he places on spiritual growth and community involvement. He even brings members of the church to the barangay to share the gospel, further demonstrating his commitment to spreading positive values and fostering a sense of community.

His dedication to the environment is another aspect that truly stands out. Engr. Conde has been involved in various environmental initiatives, such cleaning and waste management programs. His efforts during calamities are particularly noteworthy. Engr. Conde has shown exceptional leadership and resilience in times of crisis, organizing relief operations, distributing aid, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the residents of Barangay San Andres, Cainta. His quick response and effective management during these challenging times have provided much-needed support and comfort to the community.

Despite facing difficulties in passing some of his proposed projects, with only 3 out of 8 barangay kagawad approving and participating in his government and policies, Engr. Conde remains persistent. His determination to push forward and find ways to overcome these challenges is a testament to his dedication and resilience.

His compassion is also evident in his personal actions, such as visiting families who have lost loved ones. This act of kindness and support during their time of grief shows his deep empathy and commitment to the well-being of his community members.

His community engagement is exemplary. Engr. Conde actively engages with the community, listening to their concerns and working collaboratively to address them. His efforts in organizing community events and projects foster a sense of unity and collective responsibility.
