At last, the brave cyclist known as “Bike Man” has been found. He courageously chased down a reckless rider who hit a female traffic enforcer in Cainta, Rizal. This heroic cyclist has been identified as Jecenth Mateo, a 22-year-old construction worker from Taguig. The local government of Cainta will be honoring him for his act of bravery.

The incident occurred when a motorist on a motorcycle intentionally ran over traffic enforcer Annabelle Montiadora while she was trying to apprehend him for a traffic violation along Ortigas Extension in Cainta1. Witnessing the incident, Mateo immediately dropped his bike and chased the motorist on foot, earning him the moniker “Bike Man” when the video of the altercation went viral.
For his bravery, Mateo will receive a certificate of appreciation and a financial reward from the local government. Mayor Kit Nieto of Cainta praised Mateo for his quick thinking and selflessness, highlighting that such acts of heroism are truly commendable.
