We May Not All Be in the Streets, But the Fight Is Ours: A Salute to Filipino Protesters Everywhere
I may not be in the rally. I may not be walking beside you. But my heart is with you.
Today, from Luneta to EDSA, from Camp Aguinaldo to Mendiola, from town plazas to university gates, from city streets to quiet barangays, you stood up. You marched, you raised your voices, you carried signs, you held hands. You showed the world that Filipinos are not afraid to speak the truth.
This is not just a rally. It is a storm against corruption. It is a demand to hold government officials and contractors accountable for every peso stolen, every promise broken, every life affected by greed. It is a reminder that the Filipino people are watching and we will not be silent.
We will never stop until corruption ends.
We may grow old and die, but our children will rise.
The young generation will carry the torch.
They will remember your bravery.
They will keep the fire burning, brighter, louder, fiercer.
To every student, worker, farmer, teacher, artist, mother, father, youth and elder who showed up today: thank you. You are the soul of the nation. You remind us that real power comes from the people, not from money, not from titles, not from fear. I see your courage. I feel your fire. I believe in your fight.
Mabuhay kayo. Tuloy ang laban. ✊
