Light at the End of the Tunnel

This is a message to yourself today.

Fear is something we all feel. Minsan, natatakot tayo kasi hindi tayo sanay. We stay in our comfort zone kasi doon tayo komportable. Pero kapag dumating ang moment na kailangan mong lumabas sa comfort zone na yun, bigla ka na kinakabahan. Feeling scared becomes a foreign feeling, hindi mo na alam kung paano ito haharapin.

Pero isipin mo: maybe you need to be scared. Maybe, ang takot mo can inspire you, push you forward, and make you change. Kung palagi kang natatakot at wala kang ginawa, walang mangyayari sayo. Fear will only limit you. Hindi mo pa nga alam kung ano ang mangyayari sa dulo ng tunnel, pero takot ka na agad. That’s unfair to yourself.

Life is full of tunnels, dark, uncertain, minsan nakakatakot. But no matter how dark, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. Darkness will follow you, yes, but focus on the light. That light can be hope, dreams, or the people who support you.

For anyone out there na may pinagdadaanan, fear is not the enemy. Fear is a sign that you’re growing. Kapag natatakot ka, ibig sabihin you’re stepping into something new. And that’s good. Kasi walang pagbabago kung walang risk. Walang growth kung walang discomfort.

At para sa mga tao na takot umalis sa isang sitwasyon na hindi na healthy, whether sa trabaho o sa relasyon na hindi ka naggogrow as a person, o sa isang tao na hindi pinapahalagahan ang effort mo, remember this: staying in fear will only trap you. Kung hindi ka na masaya, kung hindi ka na mahalaga sa kanila, kung wala ka nang growth, then fear is telling you it’s time to move. Hindi madali, oo. Nakakatakot, oo. Pero mas nakakatakot ang manatili sa lugar na hindi ka na buo.

So next time you feel scared, don’t run away. Face it. Use it. Let fear remind you that you’re alive, that you’re moving, that you’re changing. At the end of the tunnel, may liwanag. And that’s worth every step through the darkness.
