All Will Be Alright in Time

This evening, as I scrolled through my Facebook feed, I saw a video of Ms. Regine Velasquez singing Ben&Ben's song "Leaves" at Jessica Sanchez's concert in Manila. Hearing her powerful voice sing "And all will be alright in time" touched me deeply. Regine's heartfelt rendition felt like a prayer for everyone who is hurting, a reminder that pain is temporary and love will always rise again.

I remember my closest friends, Rosebie and Maggie, whose hearts have been in pain these past few days because of betrayal and uncertainty from someone they truly love the most. I may not see their tears from the outside, but I feel their cry from within. I remind them not to be ashamed to cry, because tears are not weakness. They cleanse the soul and begin to heal the wounds of the past. As they share their stories with me, I pray that they will overcome this sad phase of their lives, that they will learn to accept and forgive, and that they will find peace in time. I know how it feels, and I know that the pain will slowly fade when the right time comes.

Life is full of heartbreaks and painful moments. I have experienced times when my heart was broken, when tears seemed endless, and when I questioned if I could ever heal. In those moments, I felt lost, but the song "Leaves" by Ben&Ben became a reminder that pain is not the end.

"I never thought that I would see the day

That I'd decide if I should leave or stay

But in the end what makes it worth the fights

That no matter what happens we try to make it right."

These lines reflect the choices we face in love - whether to hold on or let go. They remind us that even in heartbreak, what matters most is the effort to love sincerely and to forgive, even when things don't turn out the way we hoped.

"Leaves will soon grow from the bareness of trees,

And all will be alright in time."

This promise gave me hope. Just like leaves that fall and grow again, our hearts also go through seasons of loss and renewal. Healing does not happen overnight, but with patience and faith, it comes. Healing will come, even if it takes time.

As long as we breathe, there will still be pain. As long as we love, there will still be heartache. But through these experiences, we learn important lessons: we learn to accept, we learn to forgive, we learn to wait for the time of healing, and we learn to love ourselves more. Pain teaches us that life is fragile, but it also shows us how strong we can be when we choose to keep moving forward.

One of the hardest lessons I learned is that you can never truly love someone until you learn to forgive. Forgiveness is not about forgetting the hurt, but about freeing yourself from its chains. When you forgive, you open your heart again - to love yourself, to love others, and to love life.

To everyone who is undergoing bad circumstances right now: remember, your story is not over. The pain you feel today will not last forever. Trust God, forgive those who hurt you, and keep moving forward.

Padayon lang. Continue the journey, because every step brings you closer to peace. Just as leaves fall and grow again, our hearts will heal. With God's help, forgiveness, and courage, we can rise from pain and embrace life with hope. Truly, all will be alright in time.
