Gong Yoo’s Return to the Kapuso Network
Gong Yoo is making a much-anticipated return to the Kapuso Network after his hit K-drama “Coffee Prince,” which also aired on the same network. This new K-drama looks promising and has generated a lot of excitement among fans.
Many were thrilled to learn that GMA7 has acquired the rights to air “BIG,” starring Lee Min Jung (known for “Boys Over Flowers” and “Smile Honey”), Suzy (from “Dream High”), and Gong Yoo (from “Coffee Prince”). There were rumors that both ABS-CBN and GMA were vying for the rights to this show, which makes me think it must be really good. Haha!
The plot of “BIG” is quite intriguing. It revolves around an 18-year-old named Kang Gyung-Joon (played by Shin Won-Ho), whose spirit suddenly finds itself in the body of 30-year-old Seo Yoon Jae (played by Gong Yoo). Seo Yoon Jae is a successful doctor engaged to a high school teacher named Gil Da-Ran (played by Lee Min-Jung). Coincidentally, Gil Da-Ran is also the teacher of 18-year-old Kang Gyung-Joon. The story takes a complicated turn when 30-year-old Seo Yoon Jae falls in love with another woman, played by Bae Suzy.
This mix of body-swapping, romance, and drama promises to be an entertaining watch. Fans of Gong Yoo and the other stars are eagerly awaiting its broadcast on GMA7.
